The Belgian NGO, Close the Gap, promotes recycling of computers to equip telecenters in the third world. This initiative promotes sustainable growth, as waste is not generated from dismantling these computers, and contributes to protecting the environment while supporting the development of the most disadvantaged communities by setting up centers for training and access to information and communication technologies.

Panda Software and Close the Gap have reached a global agreement that allows it to install Panda Software’s security products, completely free, in all of these centers across the third world to protect these computers from all Internet threats.
