Panda Cloud Office Protection 6.0
Panda Cloud Office Protection is a security solution for PCs and servers based on the concept of Software as a Service (SaaS). Software as a Service lets companies focus on their core business, freeing them from the management tasks and operating costs associated with traditional security solutions.
It prevents companies from having to invest in additional hardware, maintenance personnel and other resources dedicated to anti-malware protection while achieving high level security, even in remote offices, with minimum resource consumption.
The Web-based administration console allows centralized management of computer protection anytime from anywhere through single-sign-on.
Panda Cloud Office Protection offers an innovative way to manage security, as it automates all maintenance tasks. This lets many small businesses forget about security management or outsource it quickly and easily with no impact on the user.

New Features in Panda Cloud Office Protection 6.0
Among others, these are some of the new features of the version for Business:
The device control technologies offer protection against malware in external devices, allowing companies to increase productivity by preventing improper use of those media. This technology allows companies to enforce actions -deny access, force read-only access, grant total access- on multiple types of devices (USB flash drives, digital cameras, DVDs, etc.) from the Panda Cloud Office Protection Web-based console.
Policies to block dangerous actions
Panda Cloud Office Protection is one of the best security solutions on the market. This version includes policies to block dangerous actions commonly carried out by malware, self-protection against malware that tries to damage or remove the antivirus, and real-time access to Collective Intelligence.
The new version uses Windows Azure, an Internet-scale cloud services platform hosted in Microsoft data centers and designed to support highly available, scalable and reliable applications. Windows Azure uses a set of privacy and security controls that ensure maximum protection of its hosted data and applications.
HOW THE BETA PROGRAM OPERATES
To take part in the Panda Cloud Office Protection program, all you need to do is to fill in the Registration Form you will find following the link at the bottom of this page.
We also offer you the following additional information:
- Check the technical requirements needs to perform a correct product installation.
- Information about the installation of the product on your computer in order to start the testing process.
- List of known bugs. Find out the known issues of the Beta version detected in tests of our QA department.
- Tests recommended by Panda Security to ensure a correct product run in your specific working environment.
- Report of suggestions and incidents detected in your work with the Beta version.

- At least, one Workstation or Server in the net must be connected to Internet

PRODUCT INSTALLATION AND SET UP
Installation can be done in two different ways:
Manual installation in each workstation and server with the installation package, that can be distributed by the administrator or downloaded directly from a Panda Security URL.
Distributed installation in hosts within distribution tool.
