MSNWorm.IE is worm which attempts to connect with a certain website to download updates of itself or to send information about the computer.
Additionally, it adds itself to the list of authorized applications by the Windows firewall in order to avoid being blocked.
MSNWorm.IE spreads via email messages and instant messaging programs using messages that include a link to a malicious website from which a copy of itself is downloaded.
MSNWorm.IE is easy to recognize, as it spreads via instant messaging programs in messages that invite users to see a picture which seems to be taken from Facebook.
