• New version incorporates remote control tools like TeamViewer, UItraVNC, TightVNC, RealVNC and LogMeln

Panda Security, The Cloud Security Company, today announced the launch of version 5.50 of its cloud-based solution Panda Cloud Office Protection. The new version, which offers businesses anti-malware and firewall protection, now incorporates remote control tools like TeamViewer, UltraVNC, TightVNC, RealVNC and LogMeln.

The new feature will save administrators a lot of time, as they will be able to remotely access computers managed by Panda Cloud Office Protection provided they have a remote control tool installed. With a simple click, users will be able to access computers for troubleshooting or installation purposes, directly from the console and without needing to go on-site or any other complexities.

Panda Cloud Office Protection, which has recently been awarded the top rating by PC Magazine/Russian Edition, is a cloud-based endpoint security service that can be managed remotely from anywhere through its Web console.

Panda Cloud Office Protection eliminates the need for antivirus servers as the security infrastructure is 100% hosted in the cloud. The solution can be installed remotely either through its distribution tool or simply by sending an email to the PCs where the protection is to be installed. It offers group policies for protection configuration, consolidated reports covering all types of malware and network threats, and a unified, centralized quarantine.

The new version is fully integrated with Panda Security’s new Panda Cloud Partner Center, a Web console that lets channel partners and service providers manage clients’ security and lifecycle (from trial-to-purchase-to-renewal) simply and centrally. Also, its monitoring features allow channel partners to identify sales opportunities and generate additional revenue by identifying unprotected clients, workstations, servers, etc.

The new version is now available through channel partners and the company’s website. Current partners and clients will be automatically updated to the new version free of charge.
