Below are the steps to check in order to solve issues regarding users that do not have access to a website:
Solution
- Login to the Panda Cloud Internet Protection Administration console and check for blocked transactions for the affected user.
- Click the Analyze top-level menu, search for the affected user and display the blocked transactions for the appropriate time period.
- The following policy actions can be displayed:
Policy action | Solution/What to do |
Not allowed to browse to this category | Go to Manage -> URL Policy and remove the user from the URL filtering rule. |
Virus/Spyware/Malware blocked | PCIP Secure module scanned the object and prevented the user from downloading the page due to malicious content. |
Not allowed to browse this malware site | The user attempted to browse to a known malware site. |
Not allowed to connect to this botnet site | The user attempted to make a connection to a known botnet site. |
Not allowed to use this browser | The user is using a browser version that has been blocked. Check Secure -> Advanced Security -> Browser Control to confirm your policy. |
Request appears to be a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attack | Attempted cross-site scripting blocked by the Advanced Threat Protection. |
Possible browser cookie theft | Potential credential stealing is occurring; cross-site scripting (XSS) protection has blocked access. |
Use of anonymizing site is not allowed | The user is attempting to bypass PCIP through the use of an anonymous proxy. |
