What is self-diagnosis and why is it needed?

The new  Panda Titanium Antivirus 2004 includes a self-diagnosis option with which it indicates at any time the protection status.

Panda Titanium Antivirus 2004 also carries out this check automatically every time the PC starts.

This information appears in the Home menu of the program and it indicates the Updates status and also the Automatic Protection status.

  • With  respect to the updates, it indicates the date of the last update of the Virus Signature File, the expiry date of the contracted services, the Automatic Update status (enabled or disabled) and if it’s functioning correctly.

    If it is not functioning correctly, you will see the instructions for you to follow to resolve the problem.
  • With respect to the Automatic Protection, the self-diagnosis indicates its status (Enabled, Disabled or Error).To guarantee the system’s protection, it will always have to be enabled and if it shows an error, you will see the steps to follow to resolve it.

You can also carry out the self-diagnosis by right-clicking on the of Panda bear icon which appears in the taskbar, next to the clock, selecting the option Start self-diagnosis.
