Brief Description 

    

BitTera.C is a virus constructor type malware. To be more precise, BitTera.C allows to create any type of malware with different functions.

This application allows to configure the malware to be created with the following functions, among others:

  • To disable the Task Manager or the Windows Registry Editor.
  • To hide the icons of the Desktop or the Start button.
  • To prevent certain applications from being runsuch as the calculator or the Notepad.

BitTera.C does not spread automatically using its own means. It needs an attacking user's intervention in order to reach the affected computer.

BitTera.C is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
