Abraxas is a direct action virus with a size of 1171 Bytes that infects files with EXE and COM extensions except for COMMAND.COM. Upon running a file infected with this virus a text will be displayed on the screen. In addition, the size of infected files will increase after infection.
After infection the date and time of affected files will be changed to the date and time of infection.
In addition, the size of infected files will increase by 1171 Bytes after infection.
However, the most visible symptom of infection consists of displaying the text ABRAXAS upon running an infected file.
