StealthWebLog is a hacking tool. Though these programs are legitimate and useful tools when they are appropriately used, a hacker could take advantage of them in order to carry out malicious actions.
StealthWebLog monitors and records the web pages accessed by the affected user. It has the following characteristics:
- Password protection.
- Not visible in the Task Manager or in the Control Panel, option Add/Remove Programs.
- It generates a report in HTML format that can be sent via email.
- It can be set to delete the report after a specific period.
- It can be automatically run whenever Windows is started.
StealthWebLog does not pose a risk by itself, but it can be used with malicious intentions.
StealthWebLog is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
