Shiver.A is a macro virus that infects Office 97 (Word and Excel) files.
Shiver.A acts one in every 800 times it is run. When it does, it inserts a message in the active Excel workbook or colors over a text selected in Word.
Shiver.A reaches computers in an infected file using the means normally used by viruses. It can spread through floppy disks, e-mail messages, CD-ROMs, computer netwroks, Internet downloads, etc.
