Pieck is an MS-DOS virus that infects files with an EXE extension. When an infected file is run, the virus infects the MBR (Master Boot Record) of the hard disk.
Once a computer has been infected, Pieck remains resident in the computer memory. In addition, it is a multipartite, stealth and encrypted virus.
An indication that Pieck has infected a computer is that on March 3 of any year, it causes the screen to flicker.
