Brief Description 

    

ClearSearch is a spyware that is installed by Spyware/Istbar.

ClearSearch adds a toolbar to the Internet Explorer browser, displays advertising pop-up windows and could end the Internet Explorer due to programming errors.

In addition, when the user types a web address in the Internet Explorer, ClearSearch checks if there is something similar among its advertisements. If so, it redirects the user to that advertised website.

ClearSearch is easy to recognize, as it shows the following symptoms:

  • It adds a toolbar to the Internet Explorer browser.
  • It displays advertising pop-up windows.
  • It could produce errors and end the process of the Internet Explorer.
  • When the user types a web address in the Internet Explorer, ClearSearch checks if there is something similar among its advertisements. If so, it redirects the user to that website.
