Brief Description 

    

Surfbar is a malware type adware. Originally, the adware is a kind of program licensing, in which the user agrees to install the application and use it without paying, and in return the program will display advertisements and banners.

Surfbar exploits the Internet Explorer Object Data Remote Execution vulnerability to reach the computer and then create directories with different links to web pages, most of them of pornographic contents.

In addition, Surfbar changes the home page of the Internet Explorer browser.

Surfbar is easy to recognize, as it reaches the computer in an e-mail message with the subject Whats Happening or Hello.
