Brief Description 

    

Surgere is a macro virus that reaches computers in an infected Word document with a DOC extension. Then, it infects the Word global template (NORMAL.DOT file), and from there it infects all the Word documents generated with it.

Surgere does not carry out any dangerous actions on the infected computers, as its only aims are to spread and modify certain characteristics of infected Word documents.
