Brief Description

Hai is a worm that does not have any destructive effects, whose only objective is to spread across local networks.

In order to spread from one computer to another, Hai tries to establish a connection with the computer whose IP address comes immediately before or after the IP of the affected computer.

If it manages to establish the connection, it looks for the Windows directory in the shared folders. If it finds this directory, it copies itself to it under a random name.

Visible Symptoms

Hai is difficult to recognize, as it does not show any warnings or message that indicate that it has infected a computer.
