Brief Description 

    

DNSChanger.ALZ is a Trojan designed to modify the domain name system (DNS) to redirect users to false websites.

This way, when users access certain websites, they are redirected to a false website, designed with malicious intentions, like for example to download more malware to the computer. The malware hosted in this website can be of any type.

Additionally, it drops a rootkit to the computer, which allows it to hide the presence of the Trojan in rhe computer, making its detection more difficult.

DNSChanger.ALZ does not spread auotmatically using its own means. It needs an attacking user's intervention in order to reach the affected computer.
