P2PShared.AV is a worm which reduces the protection level of the computer, as it stops several security services, like the Windows Security Center, and modifies the security policies of the user's accounts.
Además, in Firefox browsers it redirects certain search websites to another website with malicious intentions, when users enter certain words in the browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox and Opera), it displays advertising messages related to them.
P2PShared.AV uses the following means to spread:
- P2P programs.
- removable drives.
- email messages.
P2PShared.AV is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.>>>
