Bck/Bifrost.gen is a backdoor designed to control the affected computer remotely and to send it any type of instructions.
It injects itself into the Internet Explorer process in order to bypass the firewall and to establish a connection that allows an attacking user to control the computer remotely and to send instructions to the backdoor.
Bck/Bifrost.gen does not spread automatically using its own means. It needs an attacking user's intervention in order to reach the affected computer.
Bck/Bifrost.gen is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
