Brief Description 

    

Expiro.A.dam is a virus that infects executable files, adding itself to the end of their code. However, the files infected by Expiro.A.dam are damaged. Consequently, the infected files could not be recovered.

Additionally, Expiro.A.dam obtains the information, such as usernames and passwords, entered by the user in certain websites and in websites containing forms. However, it is not programmed to send out this information to its author.

Expiro.A.dam reaches computers when the infected files are distributed, which can enter computers through any of the typical means of tranmission, which include, among others, floppy disks, CD-ROMs, email messages with attached files, Internet downloads, FTP, IRC channels, peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing networks, etc.
