Sevilla 2 is a boot virus that infects the boot sector of floppy disks and of hard disks.
Sevilla 2 infects the hard disk of a computer when it is booted from a floppy disk that is infected with this virus. From then on, all of the floppy disks used on that computer will be infected and it will have problems starting up.
In Windows NT computers, the effects are much worse. After it has been infected, a computer will not start and in order to solve this problem the operating system will need to be reinstalled.
The only visible symptom is that infected computers have problems starting (especially computers with the Windows NT operating system installed).
