Both connect to another website from which they download different variants of Trj/Lineage, a Trojan that steals passwords belonging to online games.
Additionally, Dotex.A prevents different files from being run, which belong to several security tools, such as antivirus programs and firewalls, among others.
Dotex.A spreads via the mapped drives.
Dotex.A is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
