Lootseek.JJ is a worm that connects to an IRC server in order to receive remote control commands, such as:
- Download and run files.
- Download and run a Trojan called Rizalof.HV, which sends spam to a list of email addresses downloaded from the Internet.
- Copy other variants of the Trojan family Rizalof to the netword shared resources.
Lootseek.JJ spreads across networks, by making copies of itself to the network shared resources it gains access to.
Lootseek.JJ is difficult to recognize, as it does not display any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
