Tremor.4000.A is a MS-DOS virus that goes memory resident and infects files with an EXE or COM extension. In addition, Tremor.4000.A uses polymorphic, stealth and encryption techniques.
It is easy to be infected by Tremor.4000.A, as it reaches computers through many means: e-mail messages with infected attachments, computer networks, CD-ROMs, Internet downloads, FTP, floppy disks, etc.
Tremor.4000.A is easy to identify, as it deletes the content on screen in order to display the following text:
