The main aim of Daduni is to spread via e-mail and create a large number of files in the computers it infects.
Infection strategy
Dadinu creates a large number of files in the root directory and in the Windows directory in infected computers. The names of these files are obtained from a list that this worm's code contains:

All of these files are a copy of the worm and are 23,6032 bytes in size.
Dadinu creates the following entries in the Windows Registry:

PAV.EXE C:\ %windir%
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Run
xxxx rundll32.exe shell32.dll, Control_RunDLL C:\ %windir%xxxx.cpl
(The xxxx characters represent a random number generated by the worm).
By modifying these entries Dadinu ensures that it is run every time the infected computer is started up.
Means of transmission
Dadinu spreads via e-mail by sending itself to all the contacts in the Microsoft Messenger Address Book.
