It is an adware program which deceives users and warns them of unexisting threats in their computers. When users do certain searches related with the Nexus One or the earthquake in Haiti among the first results there are some links that point to malicious websites.

LivePcCare is an adware program that deceives users warning them of unexisting threats in their computers so that they purchase a certain program that removes them from the computer.

Additionally, it prevents many files from being run which mainly belong to antivirus programs, so that the antivirus installed on the computer cannot detect it.

LivePcCare uses BlackHat SEO techniques to infect as many computers as possible. When users do searches related to the Nexus One (Google's mobile phone) or the earthquake in Haiti among the first results there are sveeral links that point to malicious websites.
