Effects

Stealer.G tries to steal confidential data, such as access passwords for different services. Stealer.G will then log this information in a file that it will send to a hacker.

 

Means of transmission 

Stealer.G does not spread automatically using its own means. It needs the attacking user's intervention in order to reach the affected computer. The means of transmission used include, among others, floppy disks, CD-ROMs, email messages with attached files, Internet downloads, FTP, IRC channels, peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing networks, etc.

  • It is written in the programming language Borland Delphi.
  • It is 350720 bytes in size.
