Madrid, November 6, 2007 – Apple has launched version 7.3 of its QuickTime media player that fixes seven security flaws discovered in the previous version of the program.

Six of these flaws allowed attackers to remotely run malicious software on victims’ computers. As reported by Panda, the seventh flaw, triggered when handling XML content, could allow remote attackers to run JavaScript code, compromising the operating system and the browser.
