Scanning your computer for hidden items is very simple. All you have to do is click Start scan to begin the process.
If you prefer to run an in-depth scan, select the option In-depth scan before clicking Start scan. However, bear in mind that this type of scan will not start until the computer has been restarted.

Note: If the Automatic update option is enabled, Panda Anti-Rootkit will check if more up-to-date versions of the program are available before starting the scan.
You can restart the computer now or later. The in-depth scan will start as soon as the computer has started up.

If you decide to restart the computer later, the scan will not start until it has been restarted. After restarting, if you want to perform another scan during the same session, the scan will be an in-depth scan and will start without needing to restart the computer.

During the scan, a window appears in which you can monitor the scan status and the items being scanned. It is important not to cancel the scan as this could leave rootkits active on your system.
Note: When the in-depth scan is carried out, immediately after restarting the computer, a countdown of 100 seconds will appear, after which the process will start.
