SpyAutorun.A is a worm designed to steal confidential information, like any type of passwords, by logging the keystrokes type by the users. The gathered information isstored in a file and is then sent to a certain email address.

Additionally, it carries out several modifications in the Windows Registry which prevents users from carrying out the following actions, among others:

• Doing searches in a fast and straight way, as it disables the option Search from the Start menu.
• Viewing the processes that are being run through the Task Manager.
• Modifying the configuration of the features of the folders.

SpyAutorun.A spreads through removable drives, like USB keys, making copies of itself in them.

SpyAutorun.A is difficult to recognize, as it does not displays any messages or warnings that indicate it has reached the computer.
