Panda Managed Office Protection
Panda Managed Office Protection, the latest version of Panda Security's hosted IT security service for small to medium-size businesses and value added resellers serving the SMB market, is up to 50 percent more efficient than traditional endpoint security software, Panda claims. Panda Managed Email Protection, the company’s new SAAS clean mail service, protects corporate e-mail from spam and malware and replaces the company's TrustLayer Mail service solution. New features include a redesigned user interface, better spam and user policy administration, and an e-mail backup system that allows continued access to e-mail in the event of a corporate e-mail server failure. Panda is marketing its GateDefender SB as a unified threat management (UTM) device that offers "plug and forget" installation and said this product is ideal for organizations of up to 50 employees. The product's user-friendly Web-based console has a simple graphics interface and offers total network perimeter protection.

Panda Security, the cloud security company, has announced the availability of its 2010 line of unified threat management (UTM) appliances, Panda GateDefender Integra, and Panda GateDefender Performa. Both products offer proactive perimeter security that requires little to no maintenence from small- and medium-size businesses (SMBs). Panda GateDefender Integra and GateDefender Performa benefit from Panda Security’s proprietary Collective Intelligence technology that detects and analyzes threats automatically, resulting in greater speed and better protection against Internet threats. Thanks to Collective Ingelligence, the appliances obtain regular digital signature file updates from the cloud every 90 minutes to track new malware and support the Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) and Web Filter. Anti-spam fingerprinting is updated via Collective Intelligence every minute.
