Spanish Company with the best expansion award
BYTE Magazine, one of the leading sector publications, presented this award to Panda Software in recognition of the international reference point that both the company and its security products represent.
On April 13, during the Byte 2005 Awards held in the Atalante tapestry rooms, Panda Software received this important award, recognizing the company as “the Spanish company with best expansion” in the opinion of this prestigious magazine.
The thirteen previous editions of the award and the reputation of the publication itself ensure that these awards are highly regarded within the sector.
The 21 awards presented were received by the directors of the some of the country's leading companies. Representatives of HP, Sony, Microsoft, IBM, or Fundetec, to mention just a few, were among those receiving awards or those attending the ceremony. On behalf of Panda Software, Carolina Sanchiz, director of Marketing and Sales, collected the award from Lourdes Sánchez, sales director at Byte.
The jury explained: “Panda Software is without doubt, one of the Spanish companies most widely known outside the country. It was a pioneer in international expansion when few Spanish companies risked leaving their country.” The consolidation of this expansion, is today clear for all to see”.
