Panda Software, Prince Felipe Award for Business Excellence

 
Panda Software has been awarded with The Prince of Asturias Prize (Spain), in the category of Internationalization in recognition of its expansion process.
There is no doubt that this award is the result of the drive and commitment of each and every member, clients and users of Panda.

The President of the Company, Mikel Urizarbarrena, received from His Royal Highness Prince Felipe of Spain, the award for Business Excellence, in the category of Internationalization, in recognition of Panda's innovative expansion model, which has been essential to its rapid global growth.

The Jury of the Prince Felipe Award for Business Excellence has awarded Panda this in recognition of: "good management of economic resources, solid growth within its financial parameters. As well as its innovation, development and technology applied to security software and wide international implementation through the application of an original and successful expansion model which will no doubt serve as an example to other companies."

The international growth of the company commenced in 1996 with the opening of offices in the USA and now it has offices in more than 45 countries worldwide, and clients in all corners of the globe.

Innovation in the creation and excellence of customer services. It was the first company on the world market to offer 24-hour telephone tech support 365 days a year, along with a system of daily automatic updates.

Innovation in the design of its internationalization strategy, through agreements with local partners selling its products and services in each country, and providing them with wide support (marketing, tech support, communication).

Being a leader in technology, as a result of the work of its RD&i center comprising 200 highly qualified professionals, which has enabled the company to launch the new TruPrevent Technologies, firmly placing us in the vanguard of IT security industry.

There were 118 candidates for this edition of the Prince Felipe Award for Business Excellence with 15 others in the Internationalization category including, Mango, ALSA, Admirall Prodesfarma, Corporación Borges and Natura Bissé International.
