Javier Conde, competitor in the 2004 Paralympics in Athens, is now sponsored by Panda Software. The world record holding athlete has been a medal winner in three previous paralympics as well as several world championships.

Year after year, and thanks to his overriding desire to overcome any obstacle, Javier Conde has gone from strength to strength, and is now in a class of his own over long distances. His trophy cabinet includes:
- World Championships (New Zealand 2003): Gold medal 5,000 metres.
- Two Olympic golds -Barcelona 92 and Atlanta 96- and two silver -Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004-.
- Gold medal in World Championships in Berlin, Birmingham, Barcelona and Lille.
- Gold medals in European Championships -Madrid and Assen.
This season, in addition to an exhautive calandar of events -including the Athens paralympics and the Spanish championships- Javier Conde will try to beat the world hour record. He also intends to run 3,000 kilometres between the Olympic host city of Athens and his home town of Basauri (Vizcaya, Spain), a feat which he expects will take three months and during which time he will also be carrying out charity work.
